Stretching and Strengthening for Bone Density Workshop!

As we age, bone density often decreases, which can lead to osteopenia and/or osteoporosis. This decreased bone density can make us more prone to fractures and can pose a serious health risk. Exercise, especially weight-bearing, strengthening exercise, has been proven to increase bone density. We would love for you to join us on October 15th at 1:00 as we work together as a team to demonstrate ways for you to strengthen your bones, improve your balance, and feel great! Our yoga instructors, Kim and Sydney, will share 12 modified yoga poses shown to increase bone density. Then, one of our trainers, Shannon, will share some resistance band strengthening exercises to support these movements. Lastly, our massage therapist, Heather, will demonstrate stretches that can help you progress to more challenging versions of these yoga poses and exercises. We are thrilled to offer this workshop for the low cost of

$15 per person.
